Arles, L'odyssette

Meeting Mailis, for the first time was so interesting, I was in a meeting in Arles with a group of members of Longo Mai of Saint-Martin-de-Crau and I was talking with Robin, another guest of Longo Mai, that she started talking with us and in two minutes she, the sparkling woman, who knew about my trip by bike and the Talking-exhibitions on the way, decided to arrange a "1 hour exhibition" for me in their association, L'Odyssette.
We had one more meeting in which I explained her my illustrations and their stories, so she could interprate me in french during the event while I would telling the stories in English.
And on May first I had the opportunity to present  "Those little things ..." in Arles in France

  1. I met Assal one day during her cycling trip in France (fromItaly to Spain), and we instantly connected. I decided to help her to organise a conference and show her drawigns in our associative coffee L'Odyssette in Arles. It took us a limited amount of time to organise it and within 3 days we had the conference organised (and translated from English to French). We also organised a little crowfunding to help her during her cycling trip to Spain and this was it!
I really enjoyed this experience, and I thank assal for realising her dreams and helping us to see and understand her valuable work, to open the consciousness of people in a way. We need more artistic fighter like you Assal, and congratulations for your strength and keep up the fight, we are with you!
Much love and blessings from France,
    Maïlis
